Welcome to the UPR Civil Society Hub for Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB). This website provides resources and a collaborative space for civil society organizations to work together and learn from each other to advance freedom of religion or belief through the United Nations’ Universal Periodic Review Process.
21Wilberforce and researchers from the University of Stirling partnered to explore the role and strategies of civil society organizations in influencing the implementation of Freedom of Religion, Belief, and Conscience-related human rights recommendations made in the UN Universal Periodic Review. The goal of this research project is to provide actionable intelligence, models, and effective strategies for civil society organizations and all groups involved in the UPR in guiding efforts to spur real change around the world.
